Victory to Hanuman, the ocean of wisdom and virtue,
Victory to the supreme among monkeys (Kapis), the illuminator of the three worlds.

Messenger of Lord Rama, the repository of incomparable strength,
Son of Anjani, known as the son of the wind god (Pavan)

reat hero, mighty and powerful like a thunderbolt,
Dispeller of evil thoughts and companion of good wisdom.

Golden-hued and adorned with beautiful attire,
With earrings and curly hair.

In your hands, you hold a thunderbolt and a flag,
And a sacred thread adorns your shoulder.

Son of Lord Shiva and Kesari,
Your glory is revered throughout the world.

You are wise, virtuous, and extremely clever,
Ever eager to fulfill Lord Rama’s tasks.

You delight in listening to Lord Rama’s deeds,
And Rama, Lakshman, and Sita reside in your heart.

You assumed a subtle form to meet Sita,
And a fearsome form to burn Lanka.

You took a gigantic form to destroy demons,
And accomplished Lord Rama’s mission.

You brought the Sanjivani herb and revived Lakshman,
And Lord Rama embraced you with joy.

Lord Rama praised you greatly,
Saying, “You are as dear to me as Bharat.

The thousand-headed serpent Shesh sings your glory,
Saying this, Lord Rama embraced you.

Sages like Sanak, Brahma, and the great saints,
Narada, Saraswati, and the king of serpents.

Even Yama, Kubera, and the guardians of the directions,
Poets and scholars cannot fully describe your glory.

You helped Sugriva,
And united him with Lord Rama, granting him the kingdom.

Vibhishana heeded your advice,
And became the king of Lanka, as the whole world knows.

You swallowed the sun, thinking it to be a sweet fruit,
Though it was thousands of miles away.

Holding Lord Rama’s ring in your mouth,
You leaped across the ocean effortlessly.

All difficult tasks in the world,
Become easy with your grace.

You are the guardian of Lord Rama’s abode,
No one can enter without your permission.

Those who take refuge in you find happiness,
And with you as their protector, they fear nothing.

You alone can control your power,
The three worlds tremble at your roar.

Ghosts and evil spirits do not come near,
When one utters the name of Mahavir Hanuman.

All diseases and pain are eradicated,
By constantly chanting the name of Hanuman.

Hanuman rescues from all troubles,
Those who remember him in thought, word, and deed.

Lord Rama is the supreme ascetic king,
And you fulfill all his tasks.

Whoever comes to you with a desire,
Gains the infinite fruit of life.

Your glory prevails in all four ages,
And your fame illuminates the world.

You are the protector of saints and sages,
And the destroyer of demons, beloved of Lord Rama.

Mother Janki (Sita) has blessed you with this boon.
